Battlefield 5. Got to Assault rank 13. Should have unlocked the STG44 however it has remained locked. Rank requirement symbol next to rifle is gone however the lock symbol remains. Played an entire day just to see if it was delayed, didn't help. Already uninstalled/reinstalled bf5 and origin. Help. Over

I am having the same exact issue, I know for a fact I did NOT exit the game because I played another whole round on the server due to the game telling me it will be "available next round". After the gun didn't unlock after another game I exited the round to see the gun not unlocked in the main menu.
This happened to me on the assault class with the stg 44, its been a few days now and I've now hit level 14 and the gun still isn't unlocked. I've tried clearing cache, reinstalling the game and origin still nothing. Is there any fix for this its frustrating and I cant find anything that works, or when will this be patched? Its been 6 months since realease and since people first encountered this problem how is this still a bug?
same on my bf5 ps4 cant unlock past 8
I tried ranking up and did not leave the match until it ended however the stg44 is still locked.Is there any other way

Hey @donkeyluii we done a few tweaks are you still noticing issues with items not unlocking fro you while ranking up?

This is a Known Issue.
However, there is going to be a Patch tomorrow, that will hopefully address this.

In the meantime, have you tried progressing to the next Rank, and seeing if it unlocks for you?

I have same issue today. Not fixed yet.
Just a friendly reminder that this issue is still a real thing. I'm facing the same problem, it happens randomly, every 2 or 3 matches.
- Same here got recon to lvl 6 should’ve unlocked gewehr sniper but it did not unlock
yup, still a problem as of now. Still can't get my stg44
I reached support class level 20, and mg42 was still locked, as per bug/feature. Contacted the customer support EA, talked a while for very nice young man called Vishal. He advised to play a game, and it would sync after that, so that mg42 would be unlocked.
I played one game, and the mg42 was unlocked. Thanks.

Same. Reached Level 13, after the round I checket my company to see if the StG was unlocked... said it will unlock at level 13.
Played until level 14. Still not unlock.
And I always waited until the round to finish, as I was aware of this bug.It's now about two days later and still it won't work
I even tried the %appdata% fix some people suggested.

I also have unlocked weapons and vehicles as well but its not seeing it (for medic class level 3) as I hit level 17 last night and the Churchill Gun carrier isn't unlocked either and I couldn't claim them in the armory as usual due to the progression bug I read earlier in this topic, please fix it.
It's about time we get a response from EA on here otherwise they literally don't give a damn about their players and it will give the impression that all they care about is making money off those who resort to micro transactions in order to get weapons/uniforms/cosmetics. Criminals... They're literally stealing money from people by taking away the unlock system in a game. I mean how can you take away the most important and and basic aspect of gaming.
