Can run every game except BFV

Can run all my other Origin games except BFV, after the latest update... when I try to launch the BFV client I get the error box " bfv.exe application error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. I have searched everywhere and done almost everything from reinstalling Origin/repair game 3 time already/updated GFX driver to latest version/ran CC cleaner.

BF1 runs ok, BF4 runs ok, new Command and Conquer remastered runs ok....I am completely out of options....

Is there ANYONE else having this issue?

UPDATE: as I was typing this thread starter I tried to launch BFV after another repair, no error but it said I was "in game" yet nothing happened in terms of launch screen or error...

SO UPSETTING! Help please anyone :D

So I pretty much gave up for the night after much more trial and error....

THEN......went to play some BF1 to get some gaming done since I was frustrated.... was offline then went to "online mode" in BF1, worked.... got out of BF1, tried BFV again and wouldn't ya know it....... NO MORE ISSUES!

  • Just as in the title. A fun-killing error. Tried everything:

    -reinstalled Visual C++

    -updated DirectX

    -updated Windows 10 (I have a 64 bit)

-added some .dll files to the bfv folder in Origin Games

    -replaced all System32 .dll files

    -scanned through sfc /scannow

    -updated .NET framework

    -ran as administrator

    -reinstalled BFV

I just bought it. I don't want to buy a new PC (I just can't afford it) or reinstall Windows, but I want to play it. I'm fighting with this error for a few days.

@NB_SpAArKy You might need to clear the DirectX cache.

    To do so..

You will need to follow these steps :

Search for "file" in windows explorer, Click on the result called " file explorer options "

    Click the "View" tab

Look for the option "show hidden files and folders" and check the checkbox, Hit apply.

Then click start -> type "run" and open the run box.

Paste this in to the run box:
    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Battlefield V

Delete ALL of the files within that directory.

Repeat the above for this location :
    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\\D3DSCache

Relaunch the game and see if the issue stops for you.
