- ElliotLH4 years agoHero+Hi @Zero_Yoko It's not something they'll add to BFV at this point I'm afraid, there aren't going to be any major changes now.
Time will tell if they'll use a system like this for the next title. - HopanixSK4 years agoSeasoned Scout
Hi @Zero_Yoko maybe in time there will be a message for reporting that the man got a ban for the cheat.

Game is unplayable, in every server are cheaters there is no fun anymore i only report cheaters if this is what EA wants and do noting to stop the cheaters then this will be my last game.
its really ridiculous to bring out a game with no anticheat.

While it'd be nice to get a notification, EA doesn't technically have to (let's face it, there'd probably be errors with the number of daily reports and it's not like it'd really do anything). I believe they gave a proper, more official response as to why they don't a while back but I can't remember exactly what it was.
They do have an anti-cheat (believe it or not, it works), but it's just too easy for people to create/steal accounts - for everyone that is dealt with, it seems 2 replace them.
Depending on how long you've been playing, it is possible to get a refund but I dunno how well it'd work if the request is made on the ground of cheaters ruining the experience (considering support technically ended a while back) - @TTZ_Dipsy They don´t have to, but on their own behalf they better have something good coming with BF6. A notification would be a great option and I asked for that short after the release of BFV. Not only would it give the reporter a feeling of satisfaction, but it would also reduce the amount of incoming reports imo.
We´ll see, what they have up their sleeves for the new game. - x--Fusi--x4 years agoSeasoned Ace@N4v1s How about data protection? I think cheaters also have a right to data protection. And not every ban is permanent. So the players come back (no longer cheating) and everyone still thinks they're cheaters.
Hence the question of data protection.
I wouldn't think that's a bad thing, but can a company like EA just do it that way? - @x--Fusi--x That is defently a valid point, but just have a look at CS:GO. They avoided that problem with their reviewing system. Something similar could be done in BF. The notification could as well only be activaded after a person has reported x amount of suspected cheaters. In that case the message would only contain the fact, that one of the reported players has receive a ban and wouldn´t contain any data. I´m not a lawyer, but there are defently ways around this problem.
After all, the most important aspect of the reporting system for BF6 is, that it is implemented in the game directly and easy to use. I just feel like a well thought out system with some sort of feedback would help to regain the trust of the community. - x--Fusi--x4 years agoSeasoned Ace@N4v1s I think posting the number of daily / weekly and monthly penalties might help too.
Including time bans such as permanent bans.
So that everyone can see that there are punishments.
