BFV has something broken! plz EA fix it
maybe the anticheat javelin att broke something in bfv and i had seen lot of ppl with the same problem. were frametimes spike insanely high and fps drops sometimes to 10fps when you press something in keyboard or move your character or sometimes just randomly and i cant figure out what this is. i have tons of hours in bfv and never had this issue. its not conection or hardware. a lot of ppl with high end hardware with same problem. i had a good wired connection and already changed DNS but still. works fine with other online games, bf1 also works fine but i had the same issue in a recent day i played. this happens multiplayer and it happens in story mode aswell without any conection. theres a video exemple of what happens below.55Views1like5Commentshuge lag and stuttering while playing BFv
hi I'm playing BFV with my friends and over the past few days my game keep freezing and lagging while in the match. the stuttering remains for a few sec and while its happening FPS drops from 100 to 15 and game takes no input until I stop moving and wait a few sec. this keep happening randomly in different times. might be 10 sec , might be 2 min later. I tested this in both community and Dice servers. I asked around and a lot of my other friends have been experiencing the same problem. my ping stays the same throughout this experience. my pc is old (GTX1060 - i7-4970) but well within game requirements and i never had this problem before the recent updates. also my other friends with the same problem have very very better computers than me .(RTX-3060 or above) and still having the same problem so I know its not a problem with my PC. we are all lvl 500 and receive a lot of reports from the lower lvl players. ( i thought that to be the problem maybe) the only way we have found to fix this problem (sometimes works) is resetting the pc multiple times and trying to get back into the game each time to see if the problem still exist. pls fix this problem . thanks290Views5likes12CommentsBattlefield V – Armory not working for months
Hello EA Support team, I would like to report an ongoing issue with the Armory in Battlefield V. For couple of months and maybe even half a year now, the Armory has not been functioning properly — it no longer provides any weekly bundles, skins, or featured offers, even though this feature used to work consistently before. I completely understand that Battlefield V is no longer receiving new content updates from DICE or EA Games, but the Armory system was a core and working feature of the game, and it should still be maintained. Players are still purchasing Battlefield V and additional content, and the servers remain active, which clearly shows there is still a dedicated and active community supporting the game. Not long ago, there was also an issue where the community servers were not working properly, and that problem was eventually fixed — which proves that there are still people maintaining the backend and keeping the game functional. We hope that the same kind of maintenance can be done for the Armory system as well. As large and successful companies, DICE and EA Games have the responsibility to ensure that existing features, especially those that were part of the original paid product, continue to function properly. Even if no new content is being developed, basic maintenance and functionality of in-game systems like the Armory should still be supported — particularly since the game is still available for sale and players continue to spend money on it. At the moment, the Armory in Battlefield V only displays a static screen with the message “NO SHIPMENTS AVAILABLE” (as shown in the attached screenshot). It no longer provides any bundles, shipments, or weekly items, confirming that the feature is completely non-functional. This issue has persisted for several months and continues to affect many active players who still enjoy and support the game. In the name of Battlefield V players and myself, I kindly ask you to look into this problem. Please investigate this issue or escalate it to the appropriate team within EA or DICE. Restoring the Armory’s functionality would mean a lot to the Battlefield community and show that EA and DICE still care about maintaining the integrity of their games. Thank you for your time and understanding. Best regards, BF V21Views0likes0CommentsBattlefield V Multiplayer interface screen missing. XBOX
There is a big blank page when it should be filled with interface icons to click on. Also the game servers randomly shut down even if they are full. and Platoon tags randomly not showing on players who would otherwise have them on all the time. Update (Edited: 06-08-2025): Even BF6's open beta loads fine on the same PC—just 50 seconds from clicking "Play" to reaching the main menu. Update (Edited: 30-07-2025): Performed a clean reinstall of Windows 11 and the game still takes over two minutes to load. A friend of mine with a different setup is experiencing the same issue. I suspect the problem is related to the anti-cheat or the game itself. I’ve attached a screen recording to this forum post showing the problem, including an on-screen stopwatch and Task Manager for reference. Original Post: For EA Staff & Devs Bug Report ID: 6ad91d36-9f32-4e49-98f0-e1c42c510896 Help Case ID: #215668482 I recently updated the BIOS and Windows on my laptop. Everything seemed to be running smoothly—until I noticed that launching BF5 now takes significantly longer than it used to. Only BF5 is affected, I timed it with a stopwatch and the startup consistently takes around 2.5 minutes. The other games' load time from pressing play till it enters full-screen are: BF3 = 12 Seconds BF4 = 16 Seconds BF1 = 40 Seconds Issue description: After clicking Play in the EA App, the EA Anti-Cheat launches and initializes normally. Once the Anti-Cheat finishes, there's a 30-33 second delay before the game window appears. The game remains in small window and shows a black screen for another 50-60 seconds. Eventually, the game maximizes into a full-screen window and loads the title screen. Once fully open, the game runs fine, except it loads map extremely slowly as well. Here's what I've tried so far: Confirmed that Windows and NVIDIA drivers are fully up to date. Repaired, reinstalled, and cleared the cache for both the EA App and BF5. Ran both the EA App and BF5 with administrator privilege and in offline + clean boot. Ran both the EA App and BF5 on a different SSD, ensure SSD firmware are up to date. Performed a reinstall of the NVIDIA driver using DDU; cleared DirectX and NVIDIA GL caches. Reinstalled Windows using the "Fix problems with Windows Update" in-place upgrade. Reset BIOS to default settings, did a CMOS reset too. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue, and I’m starting to run out of ideas. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d appreciate any tips or suggestions. For reference (especially if any DICE developers are reading this), here’s the BIOS update I installed: https://support.hp.com/nz-en/drivers/swdetails/omen-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-16-k0000/model/2101129710/swItemId/ob-348379-1 I’ve also attached my DxDiag file to this post in case it’s helpful.2.3KViews7likes10CommentsBTF V is convinced i do not have a display driver
Excellent, Q&C again at EA. The only software not starting is Battlefield. BTF 5 "thinks" there is no display driver installed. Yet the regular December WHQL Radeon driver is installed on 7900XTX. And yes, other games start and work normally. Does anyone know how many months EA is going to take to fix this?Solved32Views0likes3Commentsassault proficiency assignment does not show

Since the latest anticheat update (2025-12-12), I can't enter the game, for both BF1 and BF5. It first pops out the dialog says "need latest anticheat (115)". So I download the anticheat file, throught this link https://cdn.eaanticheat.ac.ea.com/EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe, and update it. After update, those 3 following files "EAAntiCheat.GameService.dll, EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe, preloader_s.dll" became to (2025-7-11) version. Then, i repair the game, the modified time of those 3 files under the game directory, "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll, EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe and preloader_l.dll" will became to the date of repair time. (that make sense i thought). But when i start the game, the anticheat or some other ea program, will reverse my latest "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll, EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe and preloader_l.dll" under the game directory back to the 2025-7-11 version, and change name of the latest "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll, EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe and preloader_l.dll" to "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll_b, EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe_b and preloader_l.dll_b" Then the dialog says "need latest anticheat (115)" pops again and again. try several time. Please advice and say something to your test team, apparently someone is not do their jobs.Solved219Views0likes6Comments
