I have the same after the update.. Its like the squad tab cover it up. Everytime I finish a map and the awards are going to show it skips it, after that im stuck..

@EA_Atic It's not from the console, as the console doesn't get brought up. However, the bug is as if the console is up, except you can chat and deploy. The only way to get out is to ALT + F4, or by some other hard exit.

@EA_Atic Unfortunately, no. It's happened to me 3-4 times already, but I'll try to remember to record it. I can post it here when I do.

@EA_Atic From what I can tell, yeah it happens randomly across all different modes, maps, etc.

@EA_Aticfor the question with the console, as already said, it's not the console... but it haven't been said that you can still open/close the console...It honestly seems like it's the summary screen from the round before, that is bugging out...Pretty sure that when this happens, it always skips the summary screen kinda fast (without me pressing continue)...Also makes sense with the buttons that are locked and the ones that aren't... in the summary screen you can still chat and use the console... TAB still works too if I'm not mistaken....And that is the EXACT things I can get the game to react to when this happens, which is all the time.Also when deploying (with mouse only), it also still seems like there's an overlay since you have the mouse cursor instead of being able to look around.Hope it helps.... and gets fixed soon.I won't play a game when I have to Alt+F4 every time I've played a roundEdit:Someone on here also mentioned that hiding the chat fixed it for him... don't know, haven't had time to try it myself. Seems more like a Round Summary overlay problem if you ask me, but won't rule out that the chat might have some weird thing that triggers the bug.

Easy fix for this problem.

Press "ENTER" to open chat, write anything what you want (one letter or many words), press return and leave chat... problem gone.
Maybe this helps you, I had this problem also and this little fix worked in my case.

Got the same issue today once aswell. After a completed round the next map started, i spawned with squadmates in a car and then wasnt able to use any button to interact ingame or close the buuged chat overlay thing. The chatbox was right bottom corner and i was able to write and send messages but i wasnt able to interact ingame or use any butten to exit chat or exit game there was also the battlefield menu mousecursor visible and moveable but there was nothing i found out getting rid of the situation than alt-f4.

Typing in chat and pressing enter will not make the game accessible again.

Hmmm... thats weird, i had the same problem and it worked.
some of you have dx 12 on? maybe this is the problem (only a hint).

sorry, than i cant help anymore for this problem (until i get it and test everything)

I have the same problem. And I do not understand why, but I can not move the character and there is no menu, only the mouse. 22GB campaign and map, but now there are new bugs ...
I do not have DX12 activated, and my PC meets the standards for maximum performance. I just hope that EA fixes this problem immediately ...

Honestly the beta worked better. Please, pay 60 dollars, help solve this conflict immediately ..

I get this problem too, randomly. Once you are loaded into the next round on conquest, you deploy and all you can do is move the mouse curser, escape key does nothing and am all but locked out from playing any further. I7 6700k, 1080ti, 32gb ddr4, winver 1809, post dec 4th patch
