Can't shoot and can't switch weapon

Make sure that:

x you have tried a wired LAN internet connection? low network speed can cause delayed input response

x your network is not to buzzy (pings are up too due to highbanwidth demand across the globe right now)

x your ps3 is not too hot / clean air vents

x game files checked for missing files

x auto match making can cause you to play further from home > high ping, use the server browser to select a server with as low as ping as possible manually

x test other controller

I'm not sure if the PS has an option to check the files, Origin for PC has this option to check if all files are present and correct. Also try to reset the controller settings if that has not been done yet?

First of all - seems you are having controller issue.

The commands are sended from client to server are limited, so in some cases for example you can try quickly change weapons, jump, do jumpbug and voila!

For 1-1.5 seconds the input will not respond at all.

Yes this is game bug.

It also may happen while driving tank (not shooting while zoom), need to unzoom and controls are starting respond.

For me it's also issue, cuz i like to spam buttons, changing weapons like in CS:GO, sliding c-to-c, jumping, continuously zooming, unzooming and doing cool things.

I'm having this issue on PC, mainly when I'm on Ski's. Currently I can't get off the ski's at all, T doesn't work, mouse wheel doesn't work, numbers don't work...I have to restart the whole stupid thing. It's not a controller issue.

On PC. Same problem. Cannot: shoot, aim, switch weapon, interact. Looks like at some point every action despite movement and camera moving is blocked. I ussually occure this problem when picking up weapon or switching aiming and doing movement at the same time. Nothing in my case works except dying. I played only single player and this problem happened more then 10 times in less then 3hours. Does someone know how to fix it?

It's happening the same to me on PC with mouse and keyboard in Warstories. I have played about 50 hours in multiplayer without this problem, but in singleplayer happens continuosly, the only work around i have found it was to track back and change the weapon for one on the floor, it makes the campaign unplayable. I don't see any working solution in the thread neither the confirmation that the solution provided worked for the author, why is it marked as solved?

Single Player, PC, same issue here. Unfortunately the workaround now does not even work. If I restart at checkpoint, I am still stick with that one gone. I guess the game forgot to return control to me, when switching back from the cut scene. Does maybe a console command exists to pass control to the player?
