Can't use chat in battlefield 5

So i have been having this problem since BETA, i could use chat normally in the 2 closed alphas but since beta when i try to write in chat i can't send any message, i can write but when i send the me...

    Hello everyone, 

    We have a new dedicated topic here regarding feedback for chat filter or can't type in chat. 

    I will be closing down his topic as the original issue was related to another function and has been solved.

Hi!

Title is pretty self explanatory, but every-time i type in chat, it doesn't come up in teh chat log, my requests/orders in the chat wheel aren't showing up, ( have confirmed this with a friend) and my in game VoIP doesn't activate? I hate to think that my username (1diotbox) has been some how shadow-banned/auto silenced or something like that? for crying out loud the in game characters drop the F bomb.

    Who would've thought? I had this figured, but wasn't sure until I came here. Odd... never had this kind of filter on any other game.
