Combined Arms Hangs after playing online

Summarize your bug Game hangs
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play online in multiplayer, then return to the menu and try loading a Combined Arms map.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game continuously loads and stops responding.
What should be happening instead? The Map should load..

Anytime you play online with others, no matter what mode you play in Domination, Conquest etc. The game will stop responding and stick on a loading screen whenever you try playing Combined Arms after playing Multiplayer. It'll occur 99% of the time and has been occurring for quite some time now.

    @Mhill2029 

    Really strange it's doing that for you 99% of the time. Have you tried repairing the game by right-clicking on it in Origin or reinstalled the game to see if that would fix this?

    I've repaired and it doesn't make a difference. A buddy of mine has the same thing happen to him too. It only occurs if you have been playing online in other multiplayer modes and then try playing Combined Arms.

    Yes a number of times, and a complete re-install of the OS due to a separate issue related to CTD's with 419.xx drivers or higher (Which is more or less resolved with 417.01).

    It just seems to be a glitch whenever you try playing Combined Arms after playing online for a bit. If you start up the game and go straight to CA you have no problems. But have a game or two online, it'll fail to load up. And just sits on a loading screen.

    Mine have done that too the few times i have tried starting CA after playing multiplayer.
    I have to end task in task manager to close the game because it just freeze when trying to load CA.
    If i start up the game and go to CA there are no problems.

    Same problem for me. Every day when i change to CO the game freeze have to start over the game every day and time i want to change it..Annoying as hell!

    Would you mind adding your DxDiag reports to this post so we can take a look at your system specs?


    • What type of router do you have?
    • Do you play from a home, school, or business network?
    • Which game mode in Multiplayer are you playing before you go to Combined Arms?
    • Does this happen when you use the server browser and quick match tiles when queuing for Multiplayer games?
    • How long do you let it hang for before restarting the game?
