Summarize your bug Not sure if you folks have adjusted this purposely but the Flares are now so small there's literally no point in having the "Flare" customisation anymore for the Corsair I've spent all day today attempting different ways of releasing them from the Corsair (Different Speeds, angles, altitudes ect) but it still doesn't effect a big enough area like they did before. Also they dont stay in the air for long enough, 3 to 4 seconds before disappearing. Also marked targets disappear on the hud within about the same time so asking a team mate to mark only gives you just enough time to make a U-turn but not enough time to line-up before releasing ordnance. If it's a bug I'd really appreciate a fix here its driving me nuts. (Just noticed flying straight without banking while applying brakes increases Flare drop success rate and increases flare range as they drop but the AA's have a big chance of tearing you apart due to having to be so precise)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use the Corsair F4U-1A with "Flares" customisation enabled. (Note: I haven't tested the flare customisation on any other plane since the update)
What happens when the bug occurs? Flare radius is too small when dropped from the plane rendering the specialisation useless. Also when banking the plane or manoeuvring while dropping flares creates a very tiny Flare/Spotting radius making it extremely difficult, near impossible to avoid the AA guns and help team mates on the ground.
What should be happening instead? A bigger radius from the flare should appear while enemies within the radius should show in the hud and a representation of red dots on the mini-map should appear; Which should last for about 7-10 seconds at low/medium to max altitude of the Corsair. I'd say dropping the flares 5 to 10 meters above the limits of the "Flare Gun" firing range limit should be high enough to have max spotting radius?

- @Jamato300489 The plane flares were adjusted in the last patch. You need to drop them from a lower height or they won't work (this also let's players shoot them down).
"Airplane flares now lose effectiveness outside visual range by tweaking the spotting radius curve and gravity drag settings for the airplane flare so the radius shrinks when the flare is outside visual range 100m+".
