Hi
I had the same issue, in my case, I was able to use alt+tab to refresh "screens" in-game and go to settings of display and change it to "window" version.
The game stopped to recognise my iiyama, in window mode, I was able to use game normally, then I go back to display settings switch it back to fullscreen but this time game detected my Fullscreen display and I was able to set all other settings like refresh rate etc. Since then it is working, I need to try it also with Apex
I don't think you understand my issue - i can't get into the game, let alone the settings menu @x42nax
Do you remember if DXR (Ray Tracing) was enabled in the game ?
This could be the issue...
A lot of people experienced crash to desktop issues with DXR enabled...
very unlikely, had a lot of settings as low as i could on this machine
Have you tried today's patch if the same issue is occurring? @TheDarkCenturion
/Atic
Unfortunutely no change @EA_Atic , even after reinstalling onto a USB drive to see if it's a possible HDD problem.
Just installed Battlefield 1 to test, it's running fine so it's definitely a Battlefield V thing
Noticed something new, Battlefield 1's menu showing the other games.
Battlefield V
Battlefield 1
Battlefield 4
Battlefield Hardline
I own all of these games, the menus under Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 give the option to search for multiplayer games. Battlefield Hardline says I muse use Battlelog, meanwhile Battlefield 5 gives me the option to Purchase Game or Watch Trailer.... Upon clicking Purchase Game, it takes me to the Store tab, which confirms I own the game, but why tell me to purchase the game if i already own it, and not just show me a list of multiplayer games to join?
Can you try right-clicking on Origin and run it as administrator, then go to the Battlefield V folder on your PC and right-click on the BFV.exe file to run that as administrator to launch the game?
I've just installed the new nvidia driver, then run origin and bfv.exe as instructed but still nothing new happening @EA_Blueberry
Have you tried running CCleaner to repair files on your PC?

yea tried this during the first week of the issue @EA_Blueberry
just reinstalled the game for the first time since the last update and it's suddenly come to life and booted into the main menu of the game - no changes have been made so i'm not sure what could have tempted it into working
You never gave up on playing the objective, that's always going to work out in the end. 🙂 In all seriousness though, super happy to hear this news and if you stumble across anything you think might have contributed to it suddenly working feel free to post it here as a solution. We'll leave it marked as unsolved for now unless you prefer to mark it, otherwise we'll keep it open for a bit in case things change from your end.
Good luck on the battlefield! :eahigh_file:
@EA_Blueberry I feel it might've had something to do with the recent game update but should anything reveal itself as the issue i'll be sure to come back and mention it!
