Differences between wall danger ping & person ping

With the danger ping / commo rose key if we danger ping (ie, ping at a stone wall) am I right that only SQUAD members see danger ping. but if we actually "spot" an enemy by accurately pinging o...

As far as I know, the only spotting that non-squadmates can see is that from flares (and maybe specializations).

^ This is my understanding too. Pings are squad based and flares, spotting scope, suppression etc shows enemies for the team.
