DX12 option missing from advanced video settings

Hello, just to preface, I've been playing bfv for a few months now, and came back yesterday after having a bad experience with bf2042. I've always played with DX12 on since it gives me much higher fps (almost double compared to DX11). Yesterday I launched bfv and had very low fps, leading me to believe it switched back to DX11, so I went to advanced video settings and found that the option for DX12 wasn't even there: https://imgur.com/xBgglgT

Since then, I've used dxdiag to confirm that my system's DirectX version is in fact DX12. I've uninstalled and deleted all files pertaining to origin and bfv, and reinstalled the game numerous times now. I checked that my windows version was up to date, and my drivers are also up to date. I also tried resetting nvidia control panel settings for bfv to no avail.

Hopefully I can find a solution, since the current state of my game is very choppy with low fps on DX11, which is a shame since bfv has been the only game I've recently actually enjoyed. My system specs:
