[FIX RELEASED] BFV PC - Issues After EA anticheat Update of April 3, 2024
Hello, the recent EA AntiCheat update to BFV broke my game. I successfully played several matches yesterday on April 2nd, and today after the update that introduced EA AntiCheat, my game refuses to launch.
What happens: I attempt to launch my game. Then on my desktop appears a splash image of BFV with a loading bar. The bar fills instantly. Then this splash image disappears, EA app opens again and nothing happens.
My specs:
- Windows 10 Pro version 22H2
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
- 16 GB RAM
- GPU AMD RX6600, driver version 24.3.1
I have a similar issue with BF2042, except I never managed to launch it when I bought it, the exact thing that I described above happened when I tried to launch that game. At first I thought it was because of my region (RU) and I thought EA decided to punish me because of that, but after this BFV AntiCheat update I know for sure it's because of it I now have 2 broken games in my EA Library.
I can't even find any errors in the Windows Event Log
Please tell me what can I do to fix my games.

We appreciate your ongoing reports regarding any EA anticheat issues encountered in Battlefield V following the EA anticheat update on April 3, 2024.
The EA anticheat teams have informed us that they implemented several fixes last night aimed at resolving many, if not all, of the issues affecting BFV on PC and EA anticheat.
We kindly request you to relaunch the game and check whether you're still encountering the same issues as before.
Should you encounter any persisting issues with the game and EA anticheat, please attempt to repair the game through the EA app (see hyperlink) or verify the files via your respective game launcher.
