Hi- There is an issue when the game loads at the main menu and attempts to connect to EA. I get the error [2000] followed by the legend check ea.com/connection...
Here are the steps I´ve tried to fix the issue with no luck,
1. ReloadPS4
2. Reload the router
3. Verified that the router has the necessary ports opened as per https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/#battlefield
4. Ran the UOTrace programm to validate network connectivity to easo.ea.com https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/ y todas las pruebas salieron satisfactorias (DNS/PING/TRACEROUTE)
I´ve also verified on the EA and BFV twitter accounts if there is any issue reported with the servers/connection but the only thing I found was "The issues impacting EA Help, AHQ, Origin and connectivity across all titles are now resolved. Thank you for your patience." from April 15th.
NOTE. I dont have other EA games that I can use to test the connection but other online games work just fine.
QUESTIONS
1. Does anyone knows if there is any known issue with the server atm?
2.. What is the domain name (FQDN) of the EA servers that the PS4 is attempting to conenct?
Thanks in advance!
I can do everything else on my PS4 but join BFV servers. I’m also getting the error 2000 message. I hit R2 “play online” three or four times to just wait for about a minute for it to keep giving me error 2000. I’m playing GTA online rt now, so it’s EA servers that are the culprit, Rockstar’s are up and running fine.
