Crashing happens with DX12/RTX and DX11.
Clean boot did not rid me of the problem.

Do the other posts here regarding switching language to something else and then back again help you at all?
- 7 years agoUnfortunately changing the announcer language did not have any effect. I also tried the virtual memory fix someone suggested but it was also a fruitless endeavour.

I have found something that fixed my situation. For some reason in my BIOS settings DOCP profile was in use which had set my DDR4 RAM to 3000mhz and it caused some kind on instability.
After changing to default DOCP profile the problem has vanished.

I've just downloaded BF V again. But have not been able to play it due to it crashing EVERY time. At first, it was not even loading passed origin screen, then after clearing cache several times and deleting Origin and reinstalling it am able to load the game up until the Special holiday collection screen then it crashes every time without fail. Can't even get to the options screen to change and options it see people posting.

Hi, I also got issue with crashing. I try to find fix around one week and in my case solution was to disable Radeon overlay from AMD Adrenalin software settings. After that I haven't have single crash. I guess there is no universal solution for all, but that might be worth to try for someone with latest RX 5700 XT card and AMD Adrenalin software.

Just wanted to add myself to this sad, long, ugly list. Crash to desktop randomly while playing. Usually the game will stutter for a second, then boom, back to desktop. Has been happening for a long time.

asus strix 1080ti

Have tried all the standard stuff to obviously no help. Used intelligent standby cleaner, and that seemed to work for a bit.
5.2 definitely brought the issue back stronger than ever.
