*UPDATE* 8/10*

Adding this info:

This could happen to players that upload all their data to the Microsoft OneDrive and then delete everything in the local document folder. Windows would replace the local document folder with a shortcut to the OneDrive document.

For some reason my earlier post was removed as spam, go figure since this is the only way to fix this bug.

What if your username doesn't have any special characters? I have some spaces in my user name that's it.

I changed my username to something that should work, and that didn't work.
