Do you have an external hard drive you could try installing it on?
I dont have one no. Not sure why or how this can help, all other games are fine via internal HDD and xbox game pass ultimate. Been in contact with ea help chat and nothing suggested has any effect. Thought I'd download BF1 to check that also,. But exactly the same issues wont connect to the ea severs. What's the point in having multilayer games on xbox game pass that dont even function online?

This game is functioning for most everyone so we need to find out what's going on that is causing you not to be able to access it. I wanted you to try a different hard drive because if it works there, it's possible there's something with the internal drive causing this. Regardless, we'll move on. Where exactly are you downloading the game from? Is it in the Xbox store or are you trying to download from EA Play? Also, do you use a wired or wireless connection?

Thats understandable regarding hdd but all other games function fine. Update regarding BF1 I checked this again and after an update it allows me to sign into the ea severs but still unable connect on BFV.
Regarding download of game, tried all 3 ways - Microsoft store, xbox game pass app and ea play app. All 3 return the same error.
Using hard wired 1GB network, all ports open, xbox Nat type open,. Ran trace routes too and all seems fine.
This has been escalated to the relevant teams at EA after chatting for several hours via live chat.

If you'd like to wait for the escalation to be reviewed, that's fine. The best I can do is go through troubleshooting to try to find out why you can't connect. If you'd like to do that, let me know. Thanks!
