Glitch for Weapon Assignment Rewards?

I've played BFV for a couple of years on PS4, got to about Level 240. Had all the guns I wanted, maxed out with Gold. Recently bought Xbox Series X, loaded BFV on the Pass, started playing from Ground Zero. At about Level 25 now. Finding some Glitches on the Assignment Rewards for weapons. Example (both today): Using the M1919A6, got it up to Mastery IV where the requirements are "Kill 7 Under 50 Meters" or "Kill 15 beyond 50 Meters in One Round." Played Underground doing pretty well. Deliberately going for short kills to get that 7 kills under 50. I know I got at least 10-12 kills very close. In the next round, got maybe 5-6 more up close. Quit to see if I got the Gold Muzzle reward, but it's showing a Circle of 7 with about 25% filled in (as if I only killed 2 total). Because it doesn't say Kill 7 in 1 Round. Anyone know what's going on?

The other one is my Jungle Carbine. Just started on this today at Proficiency III. Requirement is to kill 15 in a round. Played at Mercury using only the Jungle Carbine. Got 21 kills (deliberately only used the gun, no grenades, etc). Again, no reward. Circle shows 15 with less than half filled in (like it only gave me credit for 7 of the 21).

Anyone know what's up here? Don't recall ever having these issues on PS4 when I was ranking up the guns.

  • I think as long as it doesn't specifically say PvP (and anything related to objective areas), you're able to complete those assignments in Combined Arms to make it easier.

I remember a few assignments being bugged or being worded poorly on PlayStation, perhaps you just got lucky with those?
I'm assuming the ones with lower kill requirements are actually asking you to get everything in a single life.

I tend to steer clear of the Jungle Carbine but I think I remember those kills needing to be at a certain distance away, if not in a single life

  • @DanWalshP38 If memory serves the Jungle Carbine Proficiency III wording is wrong, you need 15 headshot kills in a round (or 30 in total). Similar for the M1919A6, again assuming my memory is working, where you'll need to get the 7 kills under 50m in one life.

Like @TTZ_Dipsy said though, neither require PVP, so it'd probably be worth making it easier on yourself and knocking them out in Combined Arms.
