Gran Operations switched sides on the last round

Question

I just played a game of GO for the related achievements and after my team won the first two rounds, apparently the game flipped both teams to the opposite sides.

Is this intended? Because after fighting to get the win being put on the opposite side for the final round felt really cheap from the game.

Edit: I should add that my entire squad was switched and from comments from players on the opposite side they too were force-switched as well, so it wasn't just me alone.

The team balancer is very buggy at the moment. This has happened to me numerous times in the past. I’m sure DICE will rectify in the future. In the mean time just have fun!

Also in the 2nd round we had achieved the faster vehicle respawn bonus. Since we were force-switched, does that mean the previously-losing team got our bonus?

Team balancing can move some squads around in order to balance the amount of players on both teams in situations where the teams are unbalanced in cases where the teams are unbalanced in terms of numbers and skill level.

To answer your 2nd question, the faction that had earned the fast vehicle respawn bonus from round 2 would keep that bonus despite some squads being moved.

My buddies and I just had this happen last night - we absolutely dominated the other team as attackers and ended up as the Germans on Fjell in Day 3. We held our ground for a while but there is only so much 3 people can do...

It didn't really affect me too much since I already completed the ToW, but my friends have had issues with bugged assignments and this would have been an easy 3/3 win so it's a real *-off. *shrug*

Hi guys, this just happened because the servers make an auto-balancing refresh to bring a little bit fair game to the players. But in some cases it just ruin our round/advance in tge current round.
