High Cpu Low Gpu

Hi there. I've recently tried getting back into Bf5 but some some reason its underperforming like crazy. a year ago i was easy running 150+ fps on the same rig now im around 100 fps with lots of stutter regardless of Dx11 or dx12.

Things I've tried

Fresh Windows install both 11 and 10

Intel chipset drivers

updated Bios

Running stock clocks Ie No xmp/overclocks

Running xmp and stable overclock

reinstalled game

Different Direct x versions 11/12

Changing Future frame gen on and of on both direct x versions

trying low-ultra graphics

and ofcourse different graphic Drivers and all fresh clean DDU Install

Everything ends in the same framerate regardless of what i do i need help. ive even been on reddit, youtube and other forum posts but everything suggested seems not to work

Specs of Pc in Question

RTX 3070

32GB 3600MHZ

I7 9700K

1TB M2 SSD

Windows 11 Pro - Currently

  • The only thing I could think of is the clock speed on that RAM. It seems to be a game the leans heavy on the CPU and that could be the hamstring you're looking for. Im running 64GB of 6000 and its a bit choppy but only for the first 20 seconds as everything loads into DX12 then its smooth as butter.
