I am also have issues equipping dog tags in BFV. I am playing on a PS5. I currently have the "Incendiary Master" equipped and tried to change to to another dog tag that I have earned. I go to that dog tag that I want, highlight it with X button, then push the square button to equip and nothing happens.
Same here on xb1 i tried everything... :-(
Seems this issue occurred or still occurs since 2019: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-V/Can-t-equip-dogtags-PS4/td-p/7749329 . Never heard about it before.
Well it seems this is happening on pc as well. I have uploaded a short video for the pc version
So on all platforms not able to equip new dogtags.
PS4 and PS5 are giving me the same problems; with this many people affected, hopefully it gets fixed soon
Yep it is like that for me too after checking on my Xbox.
On xbox1 you can select it but but if you try to equip nothing happens,i see you even not able to select it... :-/
As I was informed EA is aware of this issue.
Dont worry about it,no one looks at the tags anyway.
- @Netranger9 Funny as EA said self in April 2019 in a seperate Topic about this. Would expect more reports as it is Very poplulair in Battlefield.

General: Yepp people, they know at least 2 years already about this issue, but never fixed or where able to fix this. Pretty bad. Did they even just tried something simple as removing the 2-Step way of equipping? To look if this would solve things.
