So you are saying you are catching fire, because your gaming style is so hot ;-)
On PC I would assume it is a graphic problem and your system is simply not able to display all fire that is actually there. That should not be the case on the PS4, right?
Have you tried to reproduce the effect? Meaning is it happening at the same locations over and over again?

This sucks! So it is not "static firesources" causing the probem but really them granades not showing correctly. When you throw granades do you see them burning allright? And do you get burned by them only when you are inside the fire?
It seems to be either completely invisible fire from non-visual incendiary and fire damage from NEARBY incendiary that I'm not touching. When I throw incendiary everything seems to look fine. But I haven't tested how closely I can get to it before I start burning...
@Adman_Tor& @II__SUSHI__II if there is any blast area of it then it can cause few dmg to you outside of it like; 1m or 2m if they did throw it in a good moment to near you.
Another can cause, due to a bug which can not represent the effects of it normally so it might burns up other materials in the way of it and the burning effects is going on and on (especially if you haven't got a high end PS4 which can detail everything in the game on ultra performance.
Roses are red, Violets are blue but there is a chance of windy day which blows the fire to you. :'D
