If you land all four of the 500kg it kills just about any armored vehicle.
Would be nice to hear from EA/DICE to confirm that this is intentional game balancing.
@EA_BlueberryNot sure. Would be nice if the kill-card could give you that information because it sucks when you think there's something wrong with the game.

I asked if you were hit by anything else prior to the bomb because it sounded normal. With direct hits the bombers are very effective and others here in the community are confirming that. There's some chatter around buffing AA in the official forums because situations like what you experienced. This might be worth a look if you wanted to jump into the conversation.@EA_BlueberryDefinitely not hit prior to the bombs landing on me. I was 100% health and not engaged with any other targets.
It's a bomber which can choose to equip one 1000 kg bomb instead of 4 smaller bombs. If the 4 smaller bombs together can kill a churchill then the 1 big bomb should be able to. This isn't a bug, it is the current gameplay balance.
