K/d ratio bug, not counting "assist counts as kill"

Platform:Sony Playstation 4

What happens when the bug occurs? In my stats It only counts kills and not assist counts As kill
What should be happening instead? Counting the kills all together

My k/d ratio hasn't improved since yesterday, even if had some really good games It was stuck at 1,83. Then I tryed checking my total kills in the stats, i played a breakthrough game, did a 17-7, then checked again in the stats and It only counted 14 kills without my 3 assists As kills.

    Hello @citta78

    K/D system is not bugged..

    Your K/D is 1.83.. If you want better K/D, then you need to play more rounds with + 2.00 K/D.. Then your overall K/D will go up.

    For example I have 4.32 K/D... I have 5,6 K/D almost every round and i'm still at 4.32 K/D

    You just need to get more rounds with higher K/D.. 🙂

    Thank you, i never really noticed that, i thought the overall kills score would have counted. I couldn't care less about k/d but I was keeping doing matches with k/d over 2 and i couldn't understand looking at the stats

    I was over 1,84 last week, then i had some connection issues and had some pretty bad matches. But after that I kept playing good and I didn't get back at 1,84. Maybe your k/d isn't increasing in proportion because you already have a great k/d, but If i managed in two days to have almost an overall 3 k/d in my matches and couldn't get back to 1,84, well that's odd atleast

    If I am not misremembering, I do not think assist counts as kill ever counted towards your K/D going back to BC2.

    In bf1 they counted, what's the point of having them count As kills if you don't count them then?

    You are misremembering.
    My BF1 K/D was 1.54.
    If I count my "Kill Assists", my K/D is 1.6.
    Plus, with BF1, it only counted 1 out of like every 6+ as an actual "kill assist".
    Was a pain in the * to do any assignments where you needed "squad assist" or just "assist" in general.

    Now that I am completely sober and looking more into it, maybe BF1 did count the "ACAK", as an actual kill towards your K/D.

    There is a "pure kill" stat, and a "kill" stat, also shows "ACAK" stat
    But my pure kill + ACAK does not add up to my total kills, even if I add in the "unknown" kills.
    So...weird.
