I've tried the work around playing Practice Vs Players or Squad Conquest until rank up in weapon, Class Rank or Rank Level, in fact I played until all happened but didn't work.
On Assault I'm at Max Rank and the M1907 SF, which should have been unlocked at rank 8, was still locked. Also the Combat Role - Vehicle Buster is still locked which again should unlock at rank 8 but this is only on United Kingdom and Germany sides. It has unlocked for US and Japan.
On Recon I'm max Rank and the Throwing knife, which should be unlocked at rank 9 is still locked for UK, Germany and US sided but the Kunai (Japan variation) is unlocked. Also the Combat Role - Pathfinder is still locked for UK and Germany Sides.
Got in touch with EA help and they managed to unlock the M1907 SF for me but they couldn't unlock the Combat Roles for both Assault and Recon and are still investigating this issue. They said that the throwing knife is showing as unlocked on their side but it is still showing locked for me. It was mentioned that they are having syncing issues which is probably the main cause of everything but it sounded to me that they, EA and the developers, DICE, are well aware of this problem.
Lets hope this gets sorted soon
