  • Hey @azzachaz123

What type of mouse are you using? Does it have any kind of software of its own where you can manage profiles and such?

  • I am using a Logitech G502 Hero mouse (Wired) I got a software afterwards to try and fix it but to no avail.

    Got it, thanks!

What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch BFV? Do you still run into any issues with the mouse? If this is caused by something else running on your PC the Clean Boot might help to get around it.

For more details on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Let me know if you're still having any of the same issues after that. Thanks!

  • @EA_KentOn a clean boot(It was the boot with only system services I remember) It seems to go away but I tested it a while ago, I am not sure how I could test the response time but something definitely feels a little off with it, because at it's third DPI setting which I used to always use I don't use anymore because it's not accurate and I because of the lag I stopped using it because of that. Edit: ( I also installed Manjaro Linux with Dual boot to try out Linux but have windows as my main, and I noticed the mouse seems fine on Linux(because of fresh install).

Thanks for giving it a shot!

If you disabled the mouse software on startup it most likely didn't load your profile, so that might be why it felt a bit different. If the lag issues weren't happening on a Clean Boot it sounds like it's something software-related.

You can narrow it down by re-enabling some of the processes you disabled on startup, then play BFV and see if the issue starts happening again. If you re-enable the programs in small groups that should help narrow down what exactly might be causing the issue.

  • I have gotten back into the LOGITECH software and I have restored default settings.

I accidently deleted BFV when I installed Linux so I am reinstalling it now.   My mouse still doesn't feel the same but I will try to narrow down the problem.

    Thanks for sticking with me.

  • @EA_Kent Also in task manager I usually have nothing enabled for startup.
I usually do this so I don't clutter my computer on startup,
but it could definitely be a service.

    @azzachaz123

    Thanks for the updates!

How are you getting on now after reinstalling?

    /Kent

  • It's fixed!

I was messing around with the settings of my mouse and I enabled something I forgot I was desperate just for it to be fixed it was annoying and it fixed it.

    Thankyou for sticking with me.
