I purchased "Battlefield 5" on the Steam platform. I received an email yesterday. My EA account was permanently closed due to violation of the agreement and terms of sale.Is this a joke? If you can't...

You can take it up with EA Help though (help.ea.com/en/contact-us) or email the ToS team at lets_talk@ea.com. However in my mind it is unlikely that buying the game on Steam was the issue, as they're allowed to sell the game, so something else probably caused the issue.
