Please, consoles deserves a chat, like pc
Its time to put a chat on console. Its boring say: need ammo; need medic; go Go Go; thx ; and blá blá blá..... Xbox ONE and ps4 accepts keyboard EA and the controller have a Keyboard too. So??? 😎👍

I personally don't see the appeal of a chat as it only leads to more toxicity, but if you really want to get a discussion going I suggest you pose this question on the main battlefield forums; i'm not saying this is the wrong place to do so, but the main forums have a significantly higher player count

I love when people are sending me private message on PSN that I'm hacker, cheater and other stuff that i have aimbot but this would be too much.
Chat on consoles is hard because all buttons are already used and I think that chat wouldn't work for 100% correctly.. There can be some problems with it. That's why i think we dont have normal chat on consoles.. 🙂 - Keyboard USB man or bluetooth. I use one bluetooth on Xbox one . Its Nice send Messenger fast . Written on controller is horrible. Lol and ps4 and Xbox one have mini keyboard to put on controllers
