Please read before you reply, ea representative

I wrote this post a few days ago, and I got a standard copy-paste reply which wasn't relevant to my issue.

I find it highly incompetent and insulting that EA representatives on this forum doesn't even take time to read the posts and instead give a reply based on the title of the thread or post.
I wrote this:

"

Game has been out almost 2 years now, this entire period the game has been plagued with hackers in  9/10 lobbies.

And no, I'm not a poor FPS player complaining without reason, I'm more than a decent player and have played FPS games for 2 decades now - I know how this works and how to play smart.
I have been playing every day since release in hopes of this resolving at some point.
With the latest summer update I now know there won't be any further work done on this product and I am utterly disgusted by the neglect of proper anti-cheat this game has been put through.

It's ridiculous and has just gotten even worse since the latest update, since people now know you no longer care about the product and won't do any more work on it - they see it as a haven now, with blatand and just completely obvious and transparent hacking, with no consequences.

Now, some EA representative is going to tell me to report the hackers in-game so they can "handle it, as they take it very seriously" - that's just pure hogwash.
I have seen confirmed hackers playing for over 6 months despite being reported tenfold by over a dozen players.

How a product can be so utterly neglected and a community so disrespected by developers and publishers, I just cannot fathom.
Why did you make us pay for this game when it has been nothing but trouble and rarely even remotely enjoyable, despite hundreds of hours trying to disprove those facts.
I just don't understand, how could you charge us for a broken product that you never even intended to fix?

This goes to show how little regard EA and DICE has for their loyal customers and it has definitely impacted my consumer decisions for all future.
I do not see myself every spending another dime on this franchise, simply due to how poor the anti-cheat system has been implemented (if at all), and how rude and disrespectful the support is on both forums and tickets, when this has been brought to attention.

You cannot silence us, this is not a dictatorship.
I urge you to stop doing this in the future and I would like for this to be known by anyone ever considering buying this game. JUST DON'T!

You won't enjoy it, you'll hate yourself for paying overprice for a broken product and you'll be chastised by the toxic players in-game if you mention someone is obviously hacking.

I'd also like to note I am not referring to players with 27-6 stats or such, I mean the guys with 60+ kills and 0 deaths through half the match.
These guys have noticed that EA and DICE don't care and they are taking advantage.
Who pays the price for this?

WE DO! Us, the normal gamers, trying to enjoy something we have purchased.
Disgusting"

And all I got in return was a simple copy-paste reply saying "Please report in-game, we take it very seriously".
I wrote in the post that

This doesn't work! You are not taking care of it, you are not taking it seriously, and when I bring this to your attention, you still don't take it seriously!!

I can't play the f-ing game in multiplayer, because every single lobby has one or several hackers!
Please, at least require your employees to have reading skills and an attention span longer than a minute!

Is this a joke to you?? It's not funny, get your s**t together ea!

  • I'm gonna be real here mate - I only needed to read 2 sentences to know exactly what that entire wall of text is about because it has, unfortunately, become a penny a dozen. The official response by Atic has been plastered all over AHQ and the regular forums; it should come as no surprise you'd have your post locked and a copy-paste statement would be issued. Like the 100 other people that posted even just this week, the team knows there are still hackers and cheats ruining the experience and they are working on it.

All you can do, unfortunately, is just keep reporting and hoping for the best. I always hate having to say this but if you really want a better experience, maybe try finding a cheap console to play the game - there may be the odd MnK or cronus player, but at least the game is playable

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your honesty and politeness.

I just find it highly irresponsible to not make ones products safe from obvious hackers.
I've seen players hacking for +6 months in a row and still being active.

The game has been like this since release and I would say refunds should be mandatory for those asking for it, seeing how this has been a massive and persistent issue since release.

Someone has to be held accountable for these decisions as it is ruining the industry, it's rewarding immoral and unethical methods to win and it is punishing those of us trying to play the game honestly and with whatever skill we possess.
I know I will never get a refund from these greedy trolls and hence I rant here, to make the staff aware of what kind of BS this kind of irresponsible and nonchalant business practice is.

    It is, very much, unacceptable.

Thanks again though, have a nice day.

It's hard for a console player like myself to truly understand the full extent of the problem but I completely agree it's unacceptable how everything turned out; I just hope it's not so bad for the next title.

I can try to find the refund link for you but I'm 99.9repeated percent sure it wouldn't be feasible at this point (something like a maximum 14 days after purchase without downloads and stuff, not exactly user friendly but I heard these policies will be tweaked).

From a legal standpoint, EA can't really go into too much detail on who has been dealt with and future plans to combat the problem so again, unfortunately, we're only left with the hope that something is indeed being done.

I recommend making a post either in the regular forums or Reddit - Posts should catch more eyes for easier discussion

I understand the frustration,Myself took the conclusion there is nothing they can do about it. The worst cheaters I report. 127-2 cases. And when it is to obvious. The wallhacking noobs I don't even care about. There is not really a kill cam so get revived or skip revive and continue. I understand the community managers and think they have a good reason to close the topics from their point of view. Which is we cannot do anything about it. Let's keep the forum a friendly area and prevent a naming and shaming mentality. From my experience they are running the forum as good they can.

The reason I respond here is although I do not underline the way of communication in this post,  is to at least show you are not alone. It is the reason I will stop play end of the year , or perhaps just go to 2 hours a week. I'm going to upgrade my graphical card and will also look to some older games like rainbow series, or perhaps red dead redemption 2. Although I understand closing the topics might feel like dust under a carpet. There is a complete silence about the improvements announced in June, and for a normal player there is not the feeling / experience progress has been made. On the side line we need to understand it was holiday season, covid 19, developers working on new projects.. Not to mention this as excuses but just how the business works.

As a player we should not make this personal, make indeed our own plans. There is more outside then BFV, although the game has some addiction.

  • I understand where you come from and I understand where all player comes on this topic. @TheDaggz

We had a mega thread on cheating conversation and it became an Eco chamber of toxicity comments and needed a lot moderation to keep it clean and making sure that it's following our forum rules etc. After a solid year of having it it did not add anything to the forum or for the players here.

We are aware of players sentiment regarding cheating conversation and so is DICE that is why there is statement in the last summer update and its also what I quote when I close theses topics.

But outside of that I have nothing else to add to these conversations. Keep in mind we cant go in to details what we are doing as telling you or other players will also give that information to cheat makers.

Closing down the topic had to remove a few message from the conversation.

Don't start or encourage witch-hunt towards the developers regarding anything with any game, not how you go about doing sending feedback or letting developers know how you feel regarding there games. Be constructive and do it on the platforms that are design for it you don't do it by spamming peoples personal social media accounts.

As I said above - We are aware of players sentiment regarding cheating conversation and so is DICE that is why there is statement in the last summer update and its also what I quote when I close theses topics.
