PS4 only single player mode available in main menu

I load the game .It says press start .then it loads the main menu .but I have no multiplayer option. Only options are play and more from the main menu .The only game mode is the single player game mo...

    @rulahrah,

    PS Plus has always been required to play Battlefield V, and the other previous Battlefield titles you mentioned if you wish to play Multiplayer.

    If you wish to play Online, you will need to purchase PS Plus.

I reinstalled it and it's saying I must have PlayStation plus to play online. What's going on?
