I'm having exactly the same issue and I tried a ot of things just like you (reinstall game, origins, update drivers, etc...). I also feel frustrated by the lack of efforts EA is putting in this issue as it could have a significatively bad impact on the overall health of my computer to be force to hard reboot it.
Bootleg Sollution: In order to minimize the hard reboots, I've notice that if you exit your game to main menu, then press Windows button to go back to your desktop while game still running and then ''left click'' and ''close window'' to the game, you dont get your computer freezing. I know it does not resolve the actual problem but it can act as a temporary solution.
PS: Dear community manager, please consider looking further than simply suggesting updating the drivers. Its quite insulting indeed

@Rrickfire Just out of curiosity are you on a laptop or desktop computer?

Having the same problem, have Bf1 on both a desktop and a laptop, but the laptop is the only one that suffers from the freezing up / forcing hard restart.
