Re: Battlefield V: Squad VOIP Not Working

Similar problem here since installing Logitech G-Hub wiht a Logitech G430 headset. I can't hear VOIP on my headset only the speakers. Mic works fine. It's in ORIGIN and therefore all other ORIGIN games not just BF V. Other application work as they should, like Skype. I've checked allthe settings and they are as they should be. I've tried disabling other speakers and things like that and that doesn't work either. Honestly that is not a solution though. I've tried going back to the old logitech software and it is still a problem. Feels like an ORIGIN problem.

@EA_Atic Yes. Weird thing is I can actually see the volume indicator in windows moving when the person on the other end speaks but nothing comes out the headset.

@TheDenogginator - Have you checked your VOICE settings in Origin under Application Settings to make sure that your Microphone and Speakers are set correctly?

I couldn't hear anyone via VOIP but they could hear me - setting those correctly fixed it for me.

Yes. The headset is set as the output and the mic is set as the input. The in game VOIP works but origin does not. Well, origin sorta works. I can hear all normal sounds, just not voice from origin, over the headset.

    Thanks! @TheDenogginator

Have you tried to reinstall the drivers for the Logitech system and also restarting the PC?

I assume in control panel that headset is also marked as the default communication device? @TheDenogginator default communication is what Battlefield V is tracking to output sound to for voip.

Example how it looks for me:

Yep. BFV voip actually works. Origin, however, is having the problem. No VOIP coming out the headset but I can see the volume meter moving but no sound.

Okay I miss understood you my bad, I thought it was BFV. @TheDenogginator

What options do you have under Device settings in Origin and are you using Discord at the same time?

Under voice in Origin I have the microphone selected for the mic and the headphones selected for the speakers. Volume is almost all the way up for speakers.
