Re: cant launch battlefield V
Try to unlock the built-in administrator account in Windows and run the game there. The built-in administrator account has no built-in restrictions on the C drive, so that may help. This solved the problem with saving game progress, because on a regular admin account created by the user, Windows blocked BFV from saving anything to the C drive 🙂 Windows since version 10 is specific, sometimes the strangest solutions solve problems.
Second Method :
Also, we have one potential cause out of the way, now it's time to rule out another.
Try this , maybe Windows Defender is blocking BFV.exe (He sees it as an application not in order ) :
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go start & Write regedit (run as administrator) , then in registry go to :
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\AuthRoot
add here dword key DisableRootAutoUpdate & set him on 0
