so about 2-3 months ago I noticed my chat messages not appearing at all. I thought nothing of it, possibly a bug or the chat protocol in the background failing randomly.

However it is now August and I'm still getting this issue, I'm glad it's not just me in this situation.

A user replied to my topic saying it could be to do with my name, and pointed me here.

So EA, please tell me: what is so offensive/un-politically correct about a badly spelled computer virus that you have to block my chat? It's infuriating because there's no way of chatting to the rest of your team.

If it's a bug, fine, fix it. If you are intentionally going out of your way to block anything with even the slightest hint that it could be a big bad word, then you need to re-think your priorities because it is ruining gameplay for me at least.
