Re: Mouse sensitivity changes in match

@OffizierCarl fps drops do affect mouse smoothness telling you that the cpu is under 100% load and cant process all the data coming through (bottleneck). Did you notice this performance drop after updates with your OS and/or GPU drivers / Game patches?
let me know!

  • My CPU: i7-9700k

    GPU: RTX 2070 Super

    I dont think i have a bottleneck, i checked  my cpu load while playing, it was at 50%...

    It has been like that since the last game update.

    My Performence is fine, but my sensitivity is sometimes strange but only in BF 5

  • I disabled the nvidia overlay and repaired my game(everything was ok), it didnt work. I figured out that my fps doesnt matter in game. It still happens that my mouse feels weird sometimes and my sensivity changes randomly (my settings are still the same).

    My PC is 6 weeks old and battlefield is my one of two games, my PC is very clean i think, so clean boot will not help much.

    But thanks for helping!

  • Im using the Logitech G pro wireless (the mouse performs perfect).

    Yes, the software is installed. (BF 5 is the only game with this issue)

    Ive seen the same issue once in a while not sure what the cause is. What i do is just disable the iCue Corsair software ingame as it just makes things worse.

    - Disable mouse software ingame

    - Disable all background apps (RGB software, virus scanners etc)

    - Try switching 2.4GHz to Blutooth for wireless mouse connection

    - Try another (preferably USB2.0) USB port for the USB mouse receiver

    - Update USB drivers (ASMedia, Intel Realtek etc..)

    - Update Windows and all Intel components (intel auto update)

    - Update BIOS (manufacturer supplied)

    - Try the mouse with a wire if possible or another mouse?

    I tried to diesable all backgroundapps, switch the usb port, the mouse with cable but it didnt work.

    My BIOS is on the latest version.

    It only happens when my fps drops like on the new map.

    Should i reinstall my game? (it takes 16h)

    Could it be a softwareproblem of ea?(should i  wait for the next game update?)

    @OffizierCarl i see you have a logitech one as mine: did you check if in the G program (logitech) you have a game profile automatic switch? (i remember having this problem when my G19 keyb switched profile when i launched some specific games that had built in profiles in the Logitech Gaming Software)

    did you disable that?
    i have on my logitech hero mouse a specific setup for my mouse who nails it for EVERY game. If you need help with that i'll post some screens
    let me know
  • I have G pro wireless, screens would be very nice, so i cant make a mistake.
