@ablessedtech Unfortunately there will always be people who troll others for their own amusement and usually it's because they're either bored or simply know they'll lose in a fair fight so have to resort to tactics like this. I agree it isn't fair but even if you were to remove the mines, planes would still strafe with bullets, rockets or bombs.

I'm not sure if you experienced this before the new 5.2 update but according to the patch notes, mines on the carriers disappear when a plane spawns in, my assumption would be this would be the same for the physical runway in the Japanese spawn, however with that being said, even if the mines were to disappear, strafing, rocketing and bombing are still going to be an issue. I have a suggestion below that may solve your problem but it will require you to either sacrifice your time in the air to help your team or have a friend to help you get into the air.

Best thing I'd suggest is have either yourself or a team mate spam an AA at them to keep them distracted while you or your team go to take off. The current AAs especially at close range are extremely deadly doing around 16 - 20 damage per hit, it wouldn't take long to bring down a plane going in a straight line for strafe on the runway, so either they'll drop or have no choice but to pull away

if people really didn't want planes to go anywhere inside a spawn area, the only real option DICE would have is to make each side have an out of bounds area designated for each team, same as ground forces have the same. The only downside to this is it would severely limit the flying space for planes and if you've flown planes before you know maps like Arras have little space as it is. Also cutting off spawns wouldn't even work for maps like Hamada where the 2 sides are practically side by side or Panzerstorm where if you look at the whole map from the menu it hows the spawn sizes stretch across the top and bottom meaning you'd have such little space to fly it wouldn't even be worth having planes on that map.

I hope this has given you a couple of ideas and possibly solved your problem, either way try not to let trolls get to you, don't give them the satisfaction of getting annoyed 🙂
