Morally I think it has already happened...

But practically you can probably expect still to see tangible add-ons until the point where BF2042 launches and pulls a lot of the player base to it from previous BF game versions.  At that time the BFV support will be restricted to just keep the lights on, but not add more new contents to it.  Software updates to keep it running reasonable is though probably still going to happen for a few more years out, all depending of course on the remaining total player base.  Aka look at the BF4 game today, where we still have servers run by EA and some level of tech support, though granted it is nothing as good and plentiful as we had years back when it was just 2-3 years old...  So if you like the BFV game and you have fellow gamers thinking the same, then you are good for yet more years to come.  But dont expect much more new stuff to come out for it from when BF2042 takes off.
