Re: Why does EA give up Battlefield V so quickly?

@MeistHero I know it can sometimes be hard to try not look at the negatives but there is always a silver lining and this situation is no exception.

With the team not needing to consistently work on new content for BFV which has had a multitude of changes mainly staff which has caused any of the hiccups. The new and old team can come together and spend more time fine tuning the next iterations of games.

This in turn should allow them the ability not only improve the mechanics but give some breathing space and talk and truly understand what it is the playerbase wants in a game. I believe we will see the return of the CTE program, longer Alpha and Beta testing periods and highly likely more Community Manager and Developer interactions with the general audience.

COVID-19 hurt many industries hard and with so many people staying at home the demand for the studio, the abuse the CM's recieved and the wave of new players was too much for any company to handle. This was no ones fault and had COVID-19 not existed we may be in a very different situation.

For now what we can and should do as players, is give our love and support for this title and the team behind it, give honest feedback and where things could be fixed without the need to abuse to get the point across, create small communities within your region and interact with the Community Managers, see where you may be able to help take some of the load from them.

This is the time for all of us to get it right and not just for the title we all love but for all future games both in content but public relations. The past is the past and the 2010's might have ended sour but the future is still ours to choose, so let's get it right.

Thank you guys, this post made myself happy and proud.

For myself still love BFV, but the drive to play was mostly Tides of war. Great way to loose everything on my mind and just enjoy a game.

Now myself playing for some gold weapons and medals. Replayed the Warstory which I enjoyed so much again.

But also with my recent post this evening I'm afraid I'm also one of the players who is getting sad about all the things going on. (Like the BFC bug, although great work done on that including communication, but it looks like Jenga. Remove one stone here, something else happens over there) Looking forward to Beta testing. Open for bug reporting. You will not hear me in a TTK discussion. Leave that to others. But just have it run smoothly and in team play.

One advice I can give (although not ask for) Look at the assignments as well. 9 of 10 is not encouraging teamplay. Getting gold weapons got even into a business model for company's.

Would reconsider those parts. Challenge nice but just reward on overall and not by round, Try to stop with X kills over 50m, (perhaps besides the class with rifles with scopes. Nope will not use the S word as it's banned in chat)
