We've deployed a backend fix that should solve a separate issue for Xbox Battlefield players who were being told that they were a Trial user, when they owned the full game. You may need to Restart your Xbox in order for the change to take effect, but you should be good to go now!
still hasn't worked for me.
- @EA_Blueberry Still hasn't worked
Yea it didnt work the only thing tht fixed was connecting to the ea servers, im still being told to upgrade my game and i hard restarted xbox
- @ghost787744456 Same. I've reinstalled the game twice and hard restarmed it multiple times with no effect.

Thank you for flagging this down for us. We'll need to gather the following information for the Battlefield team:
- Gamertag/PSN ID
- Platform (Xbox/PlayStation)
- Physical or digital copy and is it Standard or Deluxe?
- Do you have EA Access?
- Are you game sharing at all? Does it work if you disable game sharing?
- Confirm you've power cycled the console (Yes/No)
I also am having the same issue. Reinstalled game and even tried disabling game sharing with no change.

I understand this is not a fun experience, but let's try to keep the thread on-topic so we avoid others from missing this critical information we need. The Battlefield Community Manager also updated the post here regarding affected Xbox users.
- Game sharing on Xbox is not behaving correctly for multiple accounts on the same Xbox
If you make use of the Home Xbox functionality to share access to Battlefield V with other users on the same Xbox, it's currently detecting the additional profiles as 'Trial Users' and preventing you from accessing the full game as normal. This is unintended and we're working to correct that as fast as possible.Edit 2:We're in final stages of testing & approval for a Hotfix that we may be able to deliver to affected Xbox Users tomorrow morning What does this mean? That the issues will continue tonight however we're aiming to have this solved in time for the War in the Pacific. We will receive full confirmation of this and be able to lock our plans through the night. This may change in the morning, but in the very least I wanted to help communicate to you all how things would behave through the rest of today. Apologies to those still affected! If we can deliver a Hotfix, we'll be doing that first thing in the morning at the usual patching time. same here
I have the same issue. Please fix this. It is very upsetting. I obviously own the game because I am a rank 30 and have many unlocks in the game and over 1,000 kills, so obviously I have had access to multiplayer because I own the game. Maybe you guys should not do trials anymore because it leaves the real battlefield players out on the curb. Thank you.

I have power cycled the console and uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times. Doesn’t work still.

The devs are aware of the problem they released a hotfix about 3 hours ago but it didn't work. A lot more people are beginning to complain so I'm pretty sure they know the hotfix didn't work. It's probably going to take another day for them to release a 2nd hotfix we just have to be patient
I restarted my xbox and still would not work. I even re installed the game and it still will not work. My friend is currently playing on my xbox with my disc of BF V with his profile and has no issues. I try using my profile and it says I'm a trial user even though it shows my unlocks in the Company section of the menu.

Did you download the patch that was released today and power cycled your console? I know some of you might have already tried this in the last 24 hours, please try again now and let us know if it doesn't work. 👍
How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Well downloaded the patch and updated the interface and power cycled my xbox but still telling me to upgrade my game
I went ahead and uninstalled it and gonna try installing it again

We had an Xbox Hot fix patch this morning for about 500 MB was rolled out to everyone. @ghost787744456 @Guizzy_92
A quick question how do you own the game ( game sharing, physical disk or a digital purchase)?
Can you clear you local and cloud saves for Battlefield V - this will remove single player progression and settings. Multiplayer progression won't be removed, so you wont loos items that you gained from single player.
/Atic
I own the disc version
And i downloaded tht update this morning and restarted my console and it didnt work
And before i left 4 work i deleted battlefeild and its reinstalling as we speak and im at work right now so i will have to clear the cloud later
