Redeploy Button Placement

Something that I think every player has had at one time or another is the issue with accidentally hitting the redeploy button in-game when trying to access squads. Having the redeploy button directly above the squad button is a problem due to countless reasons that will result in unfair player deaths.

The game has bad timing when it comes to lag spikes and when trying to open the squad screen to switch squad, promote/kick players, etc, usually you're flipping a coin on whether you are going to hit the squad button or the redeploy button.

The most simple way to fix this is by re-positioning the redeploy option to the bottom of the menu, along side the quit option. If any DICE Community Managers or Developers read this, please take this into consideration for the next patch. As this small change will benefit everyone and help improve the games 'quality of life' another step in the right direction.

Unfortunately you don't get that luxury every time. He're a scenario for you to understand what I mean.

You're playing Hamada on xbox in a fighter plane in the middle of a dogfight and your friend who is squad leader has a game crash

You locked your squad to stop blueberries from joining and requesting orders constantly so they can take over the squad

Because your team mate crashed you become the new squad leader

Your mate comes back in but needs you to unlock the squad and make them the squad leader so they can drop a V1 on an objective before the game ends

An enemy fighter plane you have been fighting and downing all match spawns in and starts heading in your direction with an ETA of 2 - 4 seconds before merging

You quickly open menu and use the D-pad to go down to select Squads but the game has a lag spike and backsteps to redeploy the exact second you go to hit squads with not enough time to react.

You then redeploy because you have no failsafe asking you if you're sure you want to redeploy incase of accidental selection

You now are greeted with a respawn screen and immense frustration because someone couldn't move the redploy button 4 places down on the menu selection or offer a failsafe "are you sure" option.

Hopefully now you can see and understand how it's not always player error and the game can have a lag spike at the worst time possible, giving you a death you do not deserve
