@TTZ_Dipsy
The “other plane” from the adjacent runway spawned right in the middle of the runway I spawned on. This is a design flaw.
“Bound to happen” because I hit a bomb crater? “To be expected”? Do you have even a basic understanding of how taxi ways and runways actually work? Are you being serious or are trolling me and just to get a response?
If you’re not trolling Im wondering what planet you hail from. This has absolutely nothing to do with user input, user error, etc. This was absolutely NOT “bound to happen” because of anything I or the other pilot did. This was absolutely bound to happen because of an extremely flawed placement of a spawn point.
As a Training Safety Officer, Range Safety Officer, Parachute Drop Zone Safety Officer, with dozens of other life or death combat medical responsibilities, and last but not least as a combatant in the US military most of my adult life that’s has had to analyze safety issues on a daily basis for decades I can say with great confidence that this runway and spawn placement design is the problem. It is catastrophic event waiting for a place to happen. Operator/user error is a non factor.
On planet earth when an aircraft from runway X magically appears in the middle of ACTIVE runway Y, that’s a huge effing problem gents!
I assumed the fix was obvious but apparently not so I’ll spell it out just in case.
Do not spawn the plane from runway Y in the middle of runway X. Where the JU 88 spawned in the video, Move the spawn point out of the runway I was taking off from. So basically move the JU88 spawn pint inthe direction the JU was facing about 25 to 30 yards. About the length of the JU88.
