Shoot Ice w/ Explosives = Ice Breaks, Tank & Infantry Fall In

I've noticed that weapon and vehicle specializations are all pros without any negatives. This means that the more veteran and skilled players will have an unfair edge over the newer players.

This also means that there's a bigger incentive for the career snipers to be less mobile (i.e. camp more).

Shouldn't it be similar to what you say in previous modern BF titles where adding a silencer meant that your weapon is not as noisy but it negatively affects your other stats? 

So for instance, if you upgrade your bomber plane to carry more bombs, then you should also have the negative consequence of flying with slower acceleration.

Since pilots communicate with one another with mics, shouldn't your mic also connect with your pilot teammates? I think it makes sense to coordinate via mic as pilots. For instance, if you're a bomber, you may want to request a fighter escort. If you're dog fighting, then you want your teammate to tail your enemy pilot or otherwise intercept the enemy plane.

Obviously right now, you can communicate with only squad members via mic, whether or not they're on foot, in vehicles, or on the deploy screen. Come to think of it, even tankers during WWII had mics, so perhaps it should apply to tankers as well. Obviously, if you're on a mic and you're not in a tank or a plane, then you wouldn't hear mic conversations of pilots and tankers.

Thoughts?

When I use the commo rose to issue orders, I constantly ending up hitting the medic needed or ammo request sections instead. Right now, it's a bit too narrow on the piece of pie. The same goes for the Thanks / Affirmative / Negative sections. As for the Request medic section, IMHO, it's too large.

Maybe let the player arrange the commo rose UI to what suits us best. Some of us may be more comfortable putting the most commonly used ones on the right side because we're right handed or move that way best with the mouse. Some are left handed so they may prefer the left. Some may not even use the Request Medic because they only play as a medic, etc. Thus, I think it makes sense to not only change the size distribution of the various commo rose selections, but to also let the user determine where and how large the commo rose selections should be.

I was looking at some of the upgrades, and many of them are intuitive such as for the core classes. But others aren't as intuitive, such as the APCR round for the tank and the Wingman upgrade for the planes. It would be less of an issue if you can unlock all of the upgrades, but you select the path that works best with you and the other routes are permanently locked (which is good otherwise you'd be too OP).

Some other upgrades you wonder if it'll completely replace certain weapons. For instance, the bomber plane has an 8x bomb upgrade followed by the 2x bigger bomb upgrade. That made me wonder if the bigger bombs would replace the 8x bombs, or the #1 gun weapon - or else where would it go, a new #5 key?

IMHO, some but not most upgrades should have some info.

This is a quality of life improvement request to prevent any sort of regret of upgrade selections.

Since BFV was pushed back to November, does this mean we get to test Open Beta even longer? I'll keep providing lots of bug reports and feedback if we have another testing phase like Open Beta 2. 😃 👍

As the game launch is postponed it will maybe have a second Beta as the Alpha. 

Waiting return of the first Beta and keep an eye on official news.

The tanks feel quite a bit slippery when driving them. I get that they're heavy and so their momentum would continue to propel the tank. However, the tanks at very slow speeds tend to slip around as if the coefficient of friction is too low on all surfaces that they drive on. Please look into this and modify the traction on all of the tanks.

I'm requesting that we get to pre-select vehicles so that we can customize and select the tank that we want prior to when they become available again. In other words, it would be the same setup as in BF1. Right now, the vehicle selection is the leftmost vehicle by default. Letting us pre-select the vehicle will help to prevent mistaken "selections". Vehicles are already nerfed given attrition, so I don't think that this would cause any sort of balancing issues.

If there is a second Open Beta testing, then I hope that we get to keep our levels and progress.

Though, I can see that the leveling up and other progression systems may once again need to be tested themselves.
