It's balanced enough with all the lunch mines imo. I've lost numerous matches because my team refused to push with the tanks and I had to do all the work myself so *shrug*; it all comes down to luck imo.
1 LVT can destroy a batallion but 1 solder can also destroy an LVT - it might pay to play with a few more friends so you can coordinate via mic
It takes no effort to be godlike in a tank. Just stay back and snipe everyone.
With no planes, there is no balance.
The only solution I see is limiting tanks to 2 / side...

My personal experience is a mix so far, I have won several times on the first point as a defender and gotten my ass handed to me all the way to the last point whereas a defender I have won 9/10 times. I have won on all point as defender but I have also kicked the living crap out of the defenders as a attacker both infantry and tank.
