stuck in chat interface upon loading new map

Summarize your bug whenever the server changes to a new map i seem to be stuck in the chat interface. i can spawn in the game, but the squad member icons in the lower right corner are overlaid and my mouse cursor is always active. I cannot look around or move. i can use the chat interface I cannot press escape to bring up the menu in order to resolve, i need to force close the game and start again.
