The gun does not unlock the STG-44.

I've had a glitch like this once, my fix was to copy the game and delete the original, then I reinstalled the game and re-did the tutorial, this must occur or you didn't do it right, and then it should fix it. If it doesn't, play a few matches and it should work and give you the STG44 or level up 1 or 2 more times and it should give it to you!

You cant help there either. All people say is that the matter is being looked into and it will be fixed. Cmon that awful customer support. Player base is playing without the content the game offers and judging by the topics and comments this same issue dates back to 2018. Seriously? You are telling me that in a year and a half you havent been able to fix this? If not, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Same issue with the MP28 in medic at rank 10.

I'm now rank 11 and still is unavailable for use... In game says "Available next round".

It is and has been an issue since the start of the game with every class in the game. You know the company doesnt give a damn about it when people made guides on HOW TO UNLOCK the stuff, that you should get in the first place after completing the requirements 😃

I'm one of the lucky players not having this issue. But this issue is indeed taking for months now. 

Unfortunately the only feedback you can be given is to contact EA support. Be nice and start a chat with them. If they can't solve it try another agent. People have unlocked gear through EA support so that advice is still valid and working. This Forum can't unlock it for you and official advice is to contact EA support.

Latest status as far I'm aware of is to contact EA Support.

(although they seems not always to help regarding posts in this topic)

But please make sure you have contacted support in case of missing combat roles. This can be done by https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ and start a chat session with a support representative.

About missing weapons the earlier described workaround should still be valid.

- Play practice vs players

- Play non stop till weapon is ranked again

- Now it should be unlocked.
