The Mysterious Staircase

What was the deal with the staircase easter egg that was removed and what was at the top? Battlefield isn't my cup of tea, but this has peaked my interest.

    @UnwaryCoin The staircase could be build till infinite. When you where building it V1 rockets where flying to destroy the stair case or pull you off.
    So you had to work with a squad together.
    Our well known jack frags created a nice video about this and played the stairs over 8 hours or something :-)

    The staircase went on infinitely because it was unfinished. If the team ever does decide to go back to it I'd expect a weapon skin or funny piece of dialogue to happen. There is a small chance we could get that reported fire pistol as well but I wouldn't hold my breath
