The Problem With BFV
Tank to Tank combat
- The auto cannon specialization is worthless. The cannon itself does small amounts of damage towards infantry and the splash range for the shell is slim to none. You pretty much have to hit the player to even do damage. And the fact that it does 0, ZERO damage to other tanks even the light tanks is ridiculous. EVEN when you have the AP round specialization uncooked with it too, it does no damage!!! What the hell is the point of that?!
- Hit boxes are complete and utter *. I’ll watch shells fly over me and blow up in mid air and do damage. I’ll watch my shell directly hit another tank and do no damage. Something needs to be fixed here.
- The damage output is ridiculously inaccurate and unfair. I came behind a tiger with my medium tank and shot him 3 times in the * and he turns around and shoots me a couple of time destroying my tank before I can even damage him to half health.
- Which brings me to my next point, the auto repair feature needs to be taken away. Where’s the team work of the tank crews, there is none. It used to be two to a tank the driver and gunner who also repairs Back in bf4 and bf3. But now you can just auto repair to 50 health in an instant. Making tanks way to over powered against infantry. Who ever came up with that idea needs to be fired.
- Splash damage for shells are way to small, I’ll sit here and slam shells next to infantry and I’ll see them engulfed in the explosion to do no damage.
Infantry vs Tank Combat
- Rockets do little damage to tanks and you only give us 2 to start with and 3 at ammo stations. Rockets do like 20 damage, so that plus 3 shot is 60. Woo, now you have 40 more to go. But wait, there’s more, with the added feature of auto repair the tanker gets an extra 50 health. Now you get to do 90 more damage. What will you do? Throw dynamite on the back. Congrats you’ve done 60 more damage. 30 more to go, what now? Oh the anti tank grenade. Congrats you did 20 damage. 10 more to go, now what? Oh there’s nothing left to use well it looks like you’re dead. Idk how many times I have gone through that scenario. Like I said, fire the person who came up with the stupid idea of auto repair.
- Rockets need a buff by either doing more damage or allowing us to have more rockets like the good days of battlefield where you could carry 6!
- Dynamite needs to get a buff too! 3 dynamite to a tank doesn’t kill it, which is ridiculous. Even if it’s on top of the tank or the * of a tank. That won’t even do enough to kill it. The damage needs to be raised. Like the GOOD OL DAYS of battlefield where two C4 is all it took to destroy a tank.
Class Customization
- It’s sad how little customization there is to you class compared to the other battlefields. Y’all have really stepped far far back with this game.
- Why are grenades locked to certain classes? Why should a medic be the only ones with smoke grenades? Why should the support get the sticky grenades? There is no reason, every class should have any type of grenade. As an assault player I would love to have a smoke grenade to blind a tank I’m charging. As a medic I would like a grenade that can actually damage a tank or vehicle.
- The assault class is the only class that can barely even destroy a tank. Yes the support has the at pistol but that thing does small small amounts of damage. But limiting all the other classes to not have the ability to damage or destroy a tank just makes tanks that much more overpowered to infantry. The recon and medic can do no damage againt tanks because they have no gadgets or grenades that do any types of damage to a tank or vehicle. The recon should get dynamite like how I’m bf4 they had c4.
Character Customization
- Character Customization should not be locked behind a pay wall. And yet y’all did, all the “cool” looking customizations are locked behind a pay wall because y’all have become some greedy * bags. Why can’t we go back to the good days where we had to do challenges to unlock helmets or uniforms. So when we wore the uniforms we could actually wear them with pride. To show off our achievement. Now it’s like “hey! Look how much money I have”. Remove micro-transactions and put in a system that actually makes you want to come back to the game and earn something.
Tides of War
- The amount of content that’s in the game right now is getting better. But it’s been added in so slowly. Tides of War was a good concept but it sucks. *, bring premium back. At least then we knew when then content was coming and when the time came it actually came out.
- If you are going to seasons with Tides of War. At least fill each week with something that’s worth playing for. Knives and skins are such a waste of time. We want guns and we want uniforms. We don’t want a knife that looks like a knife we just got last week.
Ground to Air combat
- The AA gun both stationary and mobile are complete *, they do little damage to bomber and a decent amount to fighters. But still at the same time, it’s so hard to shoot a plane out of the sky.
- The weapons over heat way to fast and seem to over heat right at the point you are going to shoot down the plane. But by the time your gun cools down the plane is gone and doing its repairs.
- Pilots should take damage from flak. Especially if they are charging an AA gun and I’m slamming flak rounds into the cockpit. That should kill the pilot.
- The Mobile AA needs a buff to its armor against bombs. If you’re gonna make the amor for planes overpowered against AA then the tank should be able to withstand a bomb.
- Also remove the auto repair feature for planes too.
