Unfairly banned friend

Hi everybody,

Last week my very good friend (EA nickname - Bobsterbox) got banned in Battlefield 5 for cheating. I've known him for last 2 years, we always play together and with our other friends. He's a guy that plays purely for fun, not for the score and yet he got banned by EA. He already contacted EA several times about it, because HE IS NOT a cheater and wants to come back to playing with his friends. In the first e-mail he received from EA they say they reviewed his case and are determined that they took correct actions and confirmed that his account was involved in cheating. He reached back to them trying to solve this problem because he is clearly innocent and yet EA came back with even better e-mail stating that they actioned his account correctly and that they will not provide any details of how they confirmed his "cheating".

Can someone please help me get my buddy back into the game? I play Battlefield 5 pretty much everyday, I see cheaters on 95% of my games yet my mate gets banned for nothing and I continue to see same cheaters in-game. Is there a possibility that someone broke into his account and that's why this odd activity was considered cheating or is there a software that he may have installed on his pc that EA saw as a sign of cheating even though it was a normal program?

We are a group of friends that met in Battlefield 5, and we are really angry and dissapointed with EA's behavior towards our friend and we think about quitting and never coming back to EA games ever again after that. Please help us if you can.

The only existing solution is buying a game like Hell let loose and just tossing BFV (my best decision this year). And also never again buying a single other product by EA. They'll start actually caring about their products ONLY once they start losing money. This is the sad reality about this failed corporate mess.

If you see and come into contact with cheaters 95% of your game, What are the remaining 5% Their whole business idea is based entirely on being as discreet as possible and selling artificial skill that should not be able to be pointed out by everyone. I mean, this 95% that you can point out is hardly what they made their fortunes on, so you can easily figure out the real problem.

Do you really know your friend 100% or 95%? Because as you say yourself, it takes a lot to get banned in BF5.

    Hey there,

In the case of account bans or suspensions, the only way to have these reviewed is for the account owner to create an appeal. It's absolutely understandable to look out for a buddy, but this cannot be done on someone else's behalf.

This is not something we're able to change on the forums, and as this thread is also turning towards cheating discussion, we'll be locking it down here. Thanks all.
