You can still use Dolby Atmos with any game that isn't optimized for it! =D Dolby Atmos is designed to work with what it's got to bring virtual surround sound, even if the developers didn't develop the game with Atmos in mind.

Dolby Atmos is not "optimized" for games that don't implement it. Dolby Surround will attempt to upmix content to your height channels, but the end result is nowhere near what actual Atmos sounds like. Upmixing from 7.1 surround over 2 channel stereo still provides no positional data, so compared with actual Atmos games where 3 dimensional sound is calculated in real-time, it sounds pretty bad.
yeah, this was the MAIN reason i DIDNT buy BFV, no Dolby Atmos/Vision support. as of yet, to my knowledge there isnt, nor will there be. The best thing I could recommend is upsampling with Auro3D upmixer, as the Dolby one isn't that good, but I have yet to experience a 'horrible' upmix experience with the Auro3D upmixer(Denon/Marantz).
