why does it happen and how can I stop it, subject crosshairs

Find this happen more on sniper weapons than any other weapons. I aiming through the scope, I line up my crosshair on an player. I am about to fire until a second player runs or walks by and my crosshairs moves with that player instead of staying on my original target. Can anyone tell me why does this happen? Can I stop this from happening? It there a setting or something? please advise

  • That's auto aim kicking in - by lowering auto rotation and things like uniform soldier aiming, you should negate the problem

@TTZ_Dipsy It is aim assist but this is the slow down assist causing this. One of the best additions to this game is the ability to tone this down so this is less of a problem.

I couldn't find auto rotation but I did turn on uniform soldier aiming. I'll try that and let you know. Can you tell me where to find auto rotation?

  • @M1070 Uniform soldier aim has nothing to do with the aim assist. This setting is meant for making the sensitivity for all scopes and magnifications in a game feel the same.
The Aim Assist setting should be under options>gameplay>advanced. There you find Aim Assist and Aim Assist Zoom Snap for soldiers and vehicles.
